The Holocaust Memorial

Nearly 25,000 names have been submitted to be inscribed on the Memorial Wall by loved ones from the local community and around the world. We encourage visitors of the Memorial to submit the names of loved ones. Each name is $36.00.
 
Honorarium & Memorials
Individuals and company's from all over the world offer contributions to Honor or Memorialize a loved-one or co-worker. For a minimum donation of $18.00 the donor and the honoree receive a loverly card of recognition, and a candle is lit in honor of the individual on the Memorial grounds.
 
Books, Brochures & Postcards
Visitors are welcome to contribute to the Memorial to receive the following items: the coffee-table edition book and video "A Sculpture of Love and Anguish", Postcards, Pictures and Brochures. Entrance into the Memorial is free. The Memorial is open every day of the year from 9AM to 9PM. The Information Booth, manned by volunteers (many are survivors of the Holocaust), supplies these items and is open daily from 9AM to 4PM.

To become a friend and Member of the Memorial requires an annual contribution of at least $36.00 up to $1,800. Members receive a membership card, a Newsletter issued twice a year, and a gift based on the donor category. These contributions go towards general operation of maintaining the Memorial and towards educational and cultural programs.
 
Educational & Cultural Sponsorship
Various individuals, Family Foundations and State and Private Agencies support specific Educational and Cultural Programming, which include: Krystallnacht (the commemoration of the Night of Broken Glass), Yom Hashoah (Day of Remembrance Ceremony), Lecture Series, Teacher Training Seminars and Field Trips to the Memorial.
 
Endowment Fund
In order to establish the stability of the Memorial for the future an Endowment Fund Drive has been initiated. Individuals have the option of a variety of methods for planned giving towards this Fund, which is administered by the Foundation of Jewish Philanthropies.

In addition to simply writing a check, donors may consider discussing with their financial or legal council the possibility of giving to the Holocaust Memorial in the form of: a bequest, contribute long-term appreciated stock or assets, life insurance policy, deferred Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Remainder Trust, Annuity Trust, Unitrust, Charitable Lead Trust, Retirement Plan Assets, or a Living Trust.
